Bajaj Allianz Car Insurance Add on Covers
Bajaj Allianz offers a range of add-on covers to increase coverage of your car insurance policy. By paying an additional premium you can avail these benefits.
Bajaj Allianz - 10 Important Add-on Covers For Your Car Insurance Policy
1. Zero Depreciation
The value of your car depreciates with time, which affects the claim amount you get at the time of claim settlement. However, with zero depreciation cover, you will be exempted from bearing any loss that arises due to depreciation on all the parts of your car at 100% except the tyres, tubes and batteries on which 50% depreciation is exempted. This add-on offers compensation for the depreciated cost of your car and helps you get you a higher claim amount.
2. No Claim Bonus (NCB) Cover
No Claim Bonus (NCB) is a reward which is earned by not making any claim in the policy term. The bonus is offered on the premium of own-damage cover for every claim-free year. But, the discount can be cancelled on making even a single claim against own damage coverage. Hence, with the NCB add-on cover your NCB discount is retained even if you make a claim during the plan term.
3. Roadside Assistance
The Roadside Assistance (RSA) is an add-on cover that offers you help in case your car breaks down or faces any mechanical failure anywhere on the road or at home. With this add-on cover, you can get assistance from the insurance provider in the form of towing service, battery jump start service, fuel delivery services and much more. Get this cover by paying an additional premium and avoid getting stranded.
4. Consumable Cover
Owning this add-on cover will get you compensation from your insurer for the damages incurred by your cars consumable parts including oil filter, nuts and bolts, engine oil, screw, grease, and so on. The coverage for these parts is not covered under the standard own-damage or comprehensive car insurance plan.
5. Key and Lock Replacement Cover
This is an add-on cover which offers you the reimbursement for the expenses incurred to get a duplicate key or fitting or purchasing of new locks when the original key is stolen or lost.
6. Engine Cover
The Engine cover provides the financial coverage against the cost of repair incurred due to the damages sustained by your car’s engine, its gearbox parts or differential parts. It covers any damage that emerges due to the lubricating oil leakage, entering of water in the engine, and so on, which can damage the engine.
7. Personal Baggage Cover
The Personal Baggage is an add-on cover meant to indemnify you if any damage or loss is sustained by your personal baggage that is kept in your car while travelling within India. The compensation is offered only for the loss of your personal belongings like clothes, shoes, toiletries, belt, etc. and other items of personal use, up to the amount of sum insured.
8. Electrical Accessories Cover
It is an add-on cover which compensates for the repair cost incurred on the electrical/electronic accessories of your car such as brake light, fog lights, air-conditioner, and music system after an accident or a mishap.
9. Non-Electrical Accessories Cover
With this add-on, you can get the compensation for all the expenses incurred on the repair of non-electrical accessories of your car such as seat covers, interior fittings, alloy wheels, and so on.
10. Daily Allowance Cover
This add-on cover compensates your daily allowance expenses if you have to travel on your own when your car is a network garage for repair. The compensation amount under this add-on is computed on the basis of the premium paid.
