New India Bike Insurance
New India Assurance Company Limited is a public sector general insurance provider. The company offers all three types of two-wheeler insurance available for two-wheelers in India. The first type of insurance available for two-wheelers in India is third party insurance. It is compulsory for every two-wheeler in India according to the Motor Vehicles Act of 1988. The insurance will take care of third party liabilities in case of a mishap including bodily injury, death and property damage. Two-WHeelers caught without this insurance cover can be punished with a fine of Rs 2,000 and/or be imprisoned for up to 3 months. To protect your own-two-wheeler from mishaps you can purchase a standalone own-damage cover, it will compensate you in case of a road accident, an act of vandalism, theft, fire, natural and manmade calamities. The third type of two-wheeler insurance is a comprehensive plan. This type of insurance covers under a single insurance policy both own-damage costs and third party liabilities. If you are looking for a simple and hassle-free insurance policy this is the one for you.
A standard two-wheeler insurance cover can be further strengthened by purchasing add-on covers. These options give the insurance policy flexibility, allowing customers to pick and choose add-ons that are in alignment with their needs. Make sure to select your add-on covers thoughtfully as they can make a huge difference at the time of claim settlement. Some of the add-ons cover you must check are the zero depreciation cover, consumables cover, passenger assistance cover and the return to invoice cover.
New India offers a wide range of policies to choose from at affordable and competitive premiums. Moreover, with every own-damage cover, you also receive no claim bonus for every claim-free year that goes up to 50% in the fifth year.
