About National Insurance
National Insurance Company Ltd. (NIC) is one of the oldest general insurance companies in India, which offers bike insurance plans and other related insurance covers. National Bike Insurance
National Insurance Company Limited is a reputed state-owned insurance provider. They offer three basic types of two-wheeler insurance including third party insurance, standalone own-damage insurance and comprehensive insurance. Purchasing third party insurance for your two-wheeler is compulsory in India according to the Motor Tariff. If caught without valid third party insurance you can be punished with a fine of Rs. 2,000 and/or be imprisoned for up to 3 months. On the other hand, the standalone own-damage covers are not compulsory. They take care of the policyholder’s two-wheeler damage in case of a mishap and offer compensation for a wide array of scenarios.
