    Claim is the right given to the policyholders by the insurer. It allows the insured to claim compensation for the damages incurred after an accident. Depending upon the type of policy, the policyholder will get a certain claim amounts as reimbursement for the expenses. Magma HDI offers a stress-free claim settlement process, which comes in both the cashless and reimbursement form. The cashless services are extended to the policyholder through the vast network of the company’s 4,000 authorised garages.

    How To Make A Cashless Magma HDI Car Insurance Claim

    Step 1) Inform Magma HDI

    Get in touch with Magma HDI after an accident. Call at the toll-free number 1800 266 3202 to inform the representative about the accident and also provide all the information available with you at that moment. Seek for immediate medical aid if the accident has resulted in a serious injury of self or a third party.

    Step 2) Claim Initiation

    Ask the representative on the call to register your claim request. You will receive a claim reference number, which will be needed for future references. The claim can also be registered from the company’s official website. Click on ‘More’ tab present on the homepage and then select ‘Claims’. Choose ‘Private Car’ from the menu and then click on ‘Continue’. Enter Insured Name, Insured Mobile No, Policy No and Cover Note-EICN No and then click on ‘Search’. The policy details will be displayed on the next page after which you can submit the claim initiate request.

    Step 3) Survey Of Vehicle

    Don’t move your vehicle from the accident’s spot without taking prior authorization from the company. A surveyor will be arranged for an inspection of the damages caused to the vehicle.

    Step 4) Documentation

    Look out for a towing service to move the vehicle to the nearest authorised garage. Submit all the necessary documents to the surveyor and get your vehicle repaired.

    Step 5) Claim Settlement

    The claim amount will be settled directly with the workshop. You can take your vehicle home after paying your part of liabilities.

    How To Make Reimbursement Magma HDI Car Insurance Claim

    Step 1) Intimate Magma HDI

    Step 4) Documentation

    Look out for a towing service to move the vehicle to the nearest garage of your choice. Submit all the necessary documents to the surveyor and get your vehicle repaired.

    Step 5) Claim Settlement

    Pay the entire cost of repairs and submit the bills/invoices to the surveyor. The company will reimburse you with the claim amount within 30 days of completion of all formalities.

    Common Claim Rejection Reasons

    Magma HDI No Claim Bonus

    Magma HDI General Insurance offers No Claim Bonus at the time of renewal if they do not raise any claim during the policy period. It is a reward for policyholders for their safe driving which leads to a claim-free year. The benefit is offered in terms of discount which ranges from 20% and accumulated with consecutive claim-free years up to maximum 50%. This discount lowers the premium cost of your car insurance policy for the next year and is given to policyholders provided they renew their insurance plans within 90 days of the expiry date of the policy.

    The NCB is applicable only on a standalone own-damage car insurance plan or own-damage premium component of a comprehensive car insurance policy. It is a transferable benefit as it is provided to the policyholder and not to insured cars, which allows the policyholders to transfer all the benefits of no claims bonus while buying a new car by selling the old one or even if you port your car insurance policy to another insurance company. To retain the No Claim Bonus benefit, you can opt for a NCB Protection add-on cover which secures your bonus even after making a claim.
