To insurer yourself against the depreciation charge, you can opt for a Raheja Zero Depreciation Cover under which your car and all its parts are covered for depreciation at 100% except tyres, tubes and batteries which are covered at 50%.

    • Will the damage incurred by my car during a war or nuclear risk be covered under the Raheja QBE comprehensive car insurance plan?

      No, the own-damage cover is not available for damage incurred due to war, mutiny or nuclear risk.

    • Do I need to buy a third party cover after buying a comprehensive policy?

      No, the comprehensive policy contains the third party cover in addition to the own-damage insurance cover for your car. So, when you buy a comprehensive car insurance plan, you need not buy a third party car insurance plan separately.

      Yes, you will be eligible to get the No Claim Bonus (NCB), provided that you have not requested any claim from your comprehensive/standalone own damage insurance plan in the policy year, as zero depreciation is just an add-on to your policy.

      Yes, you can add as many add-on covers as you want besides the zero depreciation cover.


    • What additional documents do I need to submit to the insurer for claim settlement in case of theft of my car?

      In case of theft of your car, you need to submit the entire set of vehicle keys, No Trace Report for the lost vehicle, Indemnity Bond (part of insurance policy document) and No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the financer to the insurance provider in addition to the standard documents.

      Deductibles mean the amount you are liable to pay in case of a claim. This amount is deducted from the total claim amount. Car Insurance Policy carries a Compulsory Deductible of Rs 1,000 (for vehicles less than 1500 cc) or Rs 2,000/- (for vehicles more than 1500 cc).
