Step 3: Towing Service and Repairs

Tow your bike to the nearest garage authorised by HDFC General Insurance. You can also request the insurer to arrange for the towing service.

Step 4: Claim Settlement

The insurer will pay for the repair expenses at the garage apart from the deductibles. After this, you can take your bike home.

A reimbursement claim is made when the policyholder fails to take the insured bike to a garage authorised by the insurer and instead opts to get it repaired somewhere else. The process of placing a reimbursement claim is as follows:
