A patient should continue using medicines without any interruption as these medicines help in preventing the onset of bacterial or viral infections.
  • Communication - In case of quadriplegia, patients can make use of voice-command based systems for controlling devices like television, temperature, light, mobile phones, etc. Patients suffering from locked in syndrome can use specifically adapted computers for making small sentences or improving their current communication form.
