National Insurance Critical Illness Mediclaim Policy
National Critical Illness Policy is a critical illness insurance policy designed to provide coverage for the expenses incurred in the treatment of critical illnesses. It has two plans, Plan A and Plan B. Plan A covers 11 critical illnesses, whereas Plan B covers 37 critical illnesses (including Plan A). Some of the critical illnesses covered under both the plans are:
- Cancer of Specified Severity
- Coma of Specified Severity
- Kidney Failure Requiring Regular Dialysis
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery
- Open Heart Replacement

Benefits of National Insurance Critical Illness Insurance Policy
National Critical Illness Policy provides coverage for up to 37 life-threatening diseases. The cover is available for you and your family members. Under this policy, the insurance company pays the insured person a lump sum amount if he or she is diagnosed with any specified critical illnesses. The policy also allows you to add two more critical illnesses. They are Total and Permanent Blindness and Permanent Paralysis of Limbs.
