      • What are the sum insured options offered under Family Health Protector Policy?

        The Family Health Protector plan offers a wide range of sum insured options from Rs. 1.5 Lakh to Rs. 30 Lakh. This helps in providing comprehensive coverage to the entire family without falling short of the sum insured.

      • What are the minimum and maximum entry age required to be covered under the plan?

        People between the age group of 18 and 65 years are eligible to get covered under Family Health Protector Policy. Dependent kids are insured from Day 1 if one of the parents are covered.

      • Under Family Health Protector Plan, how many claims I can make in a policy year?

        You can claim as many claims you require in a policy year. There is no prescribed limit, but the claims must be made within the limit of the sum insured.

      • Does the plan offer the coverage for domiciliary treatment?

        Yes, domiciliary hospitalisation is covered up to 20% of the sum insured under Family Health Protector Plan.

      • How many network hospitals offer the cashless facility for Family Health Protector Policy?

        Policyholders can avail the cashless facility option for Family Health Protector Plan at 4000+ network hospitals across the country. 

      • If I purchase the Family Health Protector Plan, will I get any free look period?

        Yes, a period of 15 days will be provided from the date of receipt of the plan to review the plan in terms of features, benefits, terms and conditions etc., and to return it citing the reason of doing so.

      • Is there any daily allowance given under the Family Health Protector Policy?

        Yes, a daily allowance of 0.15% of the sum insured up to the limit of Rs. 1,000 is provided per day to lessen the burden of other expenses in addition to medical costs.

      • Will I get coverage for vaccination expenses for my baby under Family Health Protector Policy?

        Yes, the maximum of 7.5% of the total premium paid in case of the individually insured person and a maximum of 15% for the entire family is provided for the vaccination expenses at the end of two continuous claim-free years with us.

      • Does the policy provide any coverage for a health check-up?

        Yes, up to 1% of the basic sum insured is offered to cover the expenses of health check-up. This is offered after the block of four continuous claim-free years with us.

      • Can I earn any benefit related to tax on the purchase of Family Health Protector Policy?

        Yes, you can avail income tax benefit of up to Rs. 55,000 on Family Health Protector Policy as per section 80D of the Income Tax Act.
