About IFFCO Tokio Arogya Sanjeevani Health Insurance

IFFCO Tokio Arogya Sanjeevani Policy is a standard health insurance plan that covers all the medical expenses of the insured individual. In case during the policy tenure, an insured individual needs to be hospitalized for the treatment of an injury or illness at a hospital, then the insurance company will pay against all the expenses that are mentioned in the coverage. Also, the policyholder is offered a cumulative bonus for every claim-free year. It can be bought by any individual aged between 18 years and 65 years.

The insurance policy offers coverage for pre-hospitalisation, post-hospitalisation, hospital room rent, daycare procedures, AYUSH treatment, in-patient hospitalisation, dental treatment, ambulance charges expenses etc. The policy gives a sum insured for up to Rs. 5 Lakh and the policy tenure is for 1 year. The policy can be bought both on an individual and family floater basis including for self, spouse, dependent children, parents, and parents in law. However, remember that the age of dependent children should be between 3 months to 25 years. The premium can be paid on a yearly, half-yearly, quarterly or monthly basis.
