  • What if there is a delay in claim submission?

    Duly filled claim forms and documents must be submitted within the timelines. Failing to do so would not invalidate or reduce any claim if you convince that it was not reasonably possible for you to submit these documents within the given duration.

  • Can there be reconsideration if the company rejects the claim?

    Yes. You may, within 15 days represent the claim to the company if it was earlier rejected by them.

  • What details so I have to provide at the time of claim intimation?

    The following details must be provided at the time of claim intimation-

    • Health card ID No.
    • Policy number
    • Name of the primary insured individual
    • Nature of injury or illness
    • Date of admission
    • Name of insured person in whose relation the claim has been lodged
    • Any other information as asked by the insurer
    • Name and address of the hospital and the attending medical practitioner

  • What is the maximum number of claims allowed in a year?

    There is no limit on the number of claims allowed in a policy period. The only limit is the maximum sum insured under the plan selected.
