1. Pre-Hospitalisation Expenses

2. In-Patient Hospitalisation Expenses

Arogya Sanjeevani Policy covers expenses incurred during hospitalisation. These include nursing, boarding, room rent expenses, hospital stay, bed charges, fees of medical practitioners including a surgeon, anesthetist, doctor, consultant, surgical appliances, OT expenses, ICU/ICCU expenses, etc. Note that your insurance company may put a limit of 2% of the sum insured for up to Rs. 5,000 per day on hospitalisation. 

3. Post-Hospitalisation Expenses

Some ailments require treatment even post-hospitalisation. Arogya Sanjeevani Policy covers you for such expenses for up to 60 days after discharge from the hospital. 

4. Ambulance Charges

Arogya Sanjeevani Policy covers the expenses incurred due to transportation of the patient to the nearest hospital with the help of a road ambulance. Note that there is a capping of Rs. 2,000 on ambulance expenses for every hospitalisation during the policy term.

5. Daycare Procedures

Daycare procedures are those treatments that do not require hospitalisation of at least 24 hours. For instance, rhinoplasty, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, etc. Arogya Sanjeevani Policy covers you for such out-patient treatments for up to 50% of the sum insured. 

6. Dental Treatment and Plastic Surgery

If covered under the Arogya Sanjeevani Policy, you will be protected against expenses incurred due to dental treatment and plastic surgery for up to the sum insured limit under the policy. 

7. AYUSH Treatment

Arogya Sanjeevani Policy covers for treatments taken under AYUSH systems of medicines for up to the sum insured limit. 

8. Cataract Treatment

Arogya Sanjeevani Policy covers you for cataract treatment for up to 25% of the sum insured or Rs. 40,000 whichever is lower, for each eye. 

9. Stem Cell Therapy

Under the Arogya Sanjeevani Policy, you will be covered for Stem Cell Therapy. As it comes under out-patient treatment and therefore it has a capping of 50% of the sum insured during the policy period. 

10. New Age or Modern Treatment

Arogya Sanjeevani Policy covers you for new-age/modern treatments that are specified under the policy. It is an out-patient treatment and hence will have a capping of 50% of the sum insured.
