However, in view of the ongoing coronavirus crisis, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has mandated the insurers to also offer a Standard Health Insurance Product named Arogya Sanjeevani Policy and short-term coronavirus specific plans namely ‘Corna Kavach’ and ‘Corona Rakshak’ health insurance plans. One of the great features of these standard COVID-19 health insurance plans is that they cover home care COVID-19 expenses.
