  • Intentional Property Damages: 

The insurance company is not liable to pay for any damage that the insured has willfully caused to someone or something. Moreover, no claims will be made by the insurer for the property’s damages. 

  • Using a Personal Vehicle For Work Purposes:

If you are found to be using a personal vehicle for commercial purposes and anything happens to your car, then your insurance company will not pay for any damages. 


  • Driving Without Mandatory Documents: 

According to the Indian Motors Act, it is compulsory to carry all documents with you while driving on Indian roads. In case you meet with an accident while traveling without valid documents, your insurer will not pay for any damage expenses. 

  • Consumables:

You cannot claim for the damages that happened to the car’s consumables, such as oils & lubricants, nuts & bolts, and much more. During the claim settlement, the policyholder will have to bear these expenses.
