Here are steps that you can follow to get a copy of your policy papers online:
Step 1: Visit the website of your insurance company.
Step 2: Select the type of insurance policy you have.
Step 3: Enter the details of your policy, such as policy number, policyholder's name, etc.
Step 4: Get your profile verified, if asked.
Step 5: Pay the nominal fees.
Step 6: You will get a soft copy of your policy. Download the soft copy or take a print out for a hard copy.
How to Get Insurance Policy Copy Offline?
You can get a duplicate policy document offline following the procedures mentioned below:
1. Submit An Application At Your Insurer
Submit a written application to your insurance company requesting a duplicate copy of your policy. If the policy is held jointly, the application must be made jointly by all the policyholders. 3. Publish An Advertisement

Provide correct policy details such as policyholder's name, policy number, insurance company's name, two-wheeler registration number, etc. Pay the cost required for publishing. Submit a copy of the published advertisement to your insurance company.
4. Sign An Indemnity Bond
You have to sign an indemnity bond, requesting a copy of your policy document. You will require a non-judicial stamp paper for the bond. Make a declaration that you will indemnify your insurance company in case of a claim made by a third person. Get the bond affirmed before a notary and sign it in the presence of two witnesses. Submit it to your insurance provider. The insurance provider will verify the genuineness of your application and if found authentic, a duplicate policy document will be issued.
