About Max Bupa Arogya Sanjeevani Policy Health Insurance

Arogya Sanjeevani Policy offered by Max Bupa Health Insurance is a newly launched health insurance cover for the protection of your family. This standard health insurance policy not only secures your health but the health of your loved family as well. With this policy, Max Bupa fulfils all essential medical requirements of its policyholders without having them to worry about their finance in an already critical condition. Easily available for a policy period of 1 year, Arogya Sanjeevani Policy, Max Bupa can be purchased on individual sum insured or family floater sum insured basis. The eligibility age range for the policy is from 3 months to 65 years. The sum insured range lies between Rs. 1 Lakh up to Rs. 5 Lakh. 

Max Bupa Arogya Sanjeevani Policy covers you and your family for inpatient care (hospitalization), hospital accommodation, pre & post hospitalization expenses, AYUSH treatment, all day care treatment, modern treatment like Balloon Sinuplasty, Deep Brain Stimulation, Oral Chemotherapy, immunotherapy- Monoclonal Antibody to be given as an injection, Intra Vitreal Injections, Robotic Surgeries, Stereotactic Radio Surgeries, Bronchial Thermoplasty. You can also avail tax benefits under Section 80D of the Income Tax Act.

  • Inpatient care under AYUSH treatment, up to sum insured
  • Road ambulance expenses for Rs. 2000 per hospitalization
  • 30 days pre-hospitalization and 60 days post-hospitalization expenses coverage
  • The expenses incurred on the treatment of cataract up to a certain limit
  • Coverage for day care procedures (24 hours hospitalisation is not required)
  • Plastic surgery and dental treatment due to a disease or injury

What's Not Included

  • Any expenses incurred on domiciliary hospitalization and OPD treatment
  • Maternity expenses towards miscarriage & unlawful medical pregnancy termination
  • Treatment taken outside India is not covered under the policy
  • Any medical expenses due to OPD and domiciliary treatment
  • Treatment expenses due to alcoholism, drug or substance abuse
  • Medical expenses due to nuclear, chemical or biological attack or weapons

Moreover, ICU/ICCU charges all inclusive as provided by the hospital/nursing home are up to 5% of the sum insured, subject to maximum of Rs.10,000 per day.
