Car theft is protected by a comprehensive car insurance plan, however, in the event of the car being stolen, it does not compensate for the loss of the personal belongings. In your car insurance plan, if you want to insure/cover your personal belongings, you would have to pay an additional premium as this available as an add-on cover.

There may be cases in which the personal belongings in your vehicle may be stolen, leading to a loss for you. The loss of personal belongings cover can be purchased by paying an extra premium. With this cover in effect, the insurer will cover losses resulting because of the theft of your personal property from the insured vehicle.
