You can be the Proposer for the Medicare Plus TATA AIG Health Insurance policy if you are aged between 18 years and 65 years and include up to 7 family members including self, spouse, up to 3 dependent children, and up to 2 dependent parents. The policy comes with different sum insured and deductible options ranging between Rs. 3 Lakh and Rs. 1 Crore and Rs. 2 Lakh and Rs. 20 Lakh respectively. You can buy the policy for 1 year, 2 years, or 3 years, as per your budget and requirements.

TATA AIG Medicare Plus Health Insurance Policy offers wide coverage to the insured. This includes cover for in-patient hospitalisation expenses, second opinion, daycare procedures, pre-hospitalisation and post-hospitalisation expenses for a specific number of days, AYUSH benefit, ambulance cover, organ donor expenses, domiciliary treatment expenses, global cover (optional), and so on.   • What is the eligibility for Medicare Plus Policy offered by Tata AIG General Insurance Company?

    Medicare Plus Policy can be bought by adults aged between 18 years and 65 years. You can also include dependent children under the policy if they are aged between 91 days and 5 years if both the parents are insured. Kindly note that people aged at least 5 years can also be covered on an individual basis.

    • Waiting period of 36 months for pre-existing conditions
  • Who all can be covered under Medicare Plus Policy?

    Can cover up to seven members. These include self, legally wedded spouse, up to 3 dependent children, and up to 2 dependent parents.

  • What is the cumulative bonus under Medicare Plus Policy?

    If covered under Medicare Plus Policy, you can avail a cumulative bonus of 50% for every claim free year up to a maximum of 100%. In case the claim is made during the policy period, then the cumulative bonus will reduce by 50% for the following year.
