Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd. Honored with 'The Fintelekt Insurance Awards 2017'

Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd. was recognized and honored with the esteemed “The Fintelekt Insurance Awards 2017”, held on July 21, 2017 in Mumbai. The company was presented with an award for being a "Claim Service Leader – Medium & Small Category". It had settled more than 1.2 million claims in the financial year 2016-17. The Fintelekt Insurance Awards have been conceptualized to honor performance, growth and excellence in the Indian insurance industry. The jury had eminent members from IRDAI, General Insurance Council, Life Insurance Council and insurance industry veterans.
In conversation with Arpit Gupta of Elets News Network (ENN), O. N. Singh, Chairman of Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd. stated that the company has always been a front-runner in identifying opportunities in extending insurance benefits to masses.
