Claim Cashless Bike Insurance For Royal Enfield Bikes

Cashless bike insurance is the best choice for the policyholders to get their Royal Enfield bike repaired at the network garage of their insurance company without paying anything. To avail this cashless claim option, the policyholders are required to inform their respective insurers regarding the damage and loss sustained by their bikes soon after a collision or mishap. With this claim process, you can easily and swiftly get the repair work done for your bike free of cost as your insurance company will be liable to bear the repair costs on your behalf.

The cashless bike insurance claim refrains you from making any payment for repair after an accident or loss. In addition to this, with a cashless claim process, you need to submit fewer documents and fewer formalities to go through when compared to the reimbursement claim process, which ultimately expedites the claim process. Under this option, a surveyor is sent directly by your insurer to examine the damage extent immediately after a mishap which also brings speed and transparency to the procedure. The insurance companies authorise the best workshops under their network that enables you to get the best possible repair service for your Royal Enfield bike.

Royal Enfield Cashless Bike Insurance Claim Process

A cashless bike insurance claim for your Royal Enfield bike can be made without any hassle. For an easy claim settlement process, you can follow the below-given steps:

Step 1: The policyholders should inform their respective insurance company immediately if any damage or loss to the bike is caused during an accident or theft. To get in contact with the insurance company, you can either call them on their toll-free number or register a claim by visiting the official website of the insurance company.

Step 2: After the policyholder has made the claim intimation, they would receive a call from the insurance company’s claim representative. They have to present all the information regarding the accident and policy number of the Royal Enfield bike insurance policy to the representative.

Step 3: The insurance provider sends a surveyor to gauge the extent of damage caused to the bike after the mishap. Also, a policyholder is not allowed to tow the bike to a network garage before the surveyor arrives and checks the condition of the bike. An estimated repair cost for the bike is prepared by the surveyor and he also collects all the necessary documents, contact number of the witnesses, duly filled claim form etc from the policyholder.

Step 4: Once the surveyor approves, the policyholder can take their bike for repair to a nearby network garage. After confirming all the legal and financial liabilities, the insurance company pays the repair cost to the garage. The claim amount is calculated after factorising depreciation amount and deductibles(if any).

Royal Enfield Reimbursement Bike Insurance Claim Process

If the policyholder is unable to find a network garage nearby or they wish to get their bike repaired in any other garage of their choice, in that scenario, a reimbursement claim can be registered by the policyholder. Compensation for the repair cost is received by the policyholder through a reimbursement claim. A reimbursement claim can be placed by following the below-given steps:

Step 1: A reimbursement claim process can be initiated by the policyholder by informing the insurance company soon after the accident or mishap with a Royal Enfield bike takes place. The policyholder can get in contact with the insurance company either by dialling their toll-free number or by visiting the nearby branch of the insurance company.

Step 2: The claim officials of the insurance company will give a call back after the intimation to the policyholder. Thereafter, the policyholder is supposed to inform the officials regarding the policy number and details of the accident. A unique claim reference number is given by the company to the policyholder, which can be used in future.

Step 3: A surveyor appointed by the insurance company is sent to the location to check the condition of the insured bike. The policyholder is not allowed to move the bike to the garage before the surveyor arrives at the location. An estimate of repair cost is prepared by the surveyor and he also collects all the required documents along with duly filled claim form and other witnesses and proofs of the incident.

Step 4: Once the surveyor gives the approval, the policyholder can take their bike to the desired garage and get the bike repaired by paying the money. Once the bike repair is done, receipts and bills of the repair alongside the policy document need to be submitted to the insurance company for reimbursement. After the verification of the case, the claim amount is disbursed by the company after deducting the depreciation amount and deductibles( if any).

How to Renew an Expired Policy for Your Royal Enfield Two-Wheeler?

Most two-wheeler insurance policies last for a year before they need to be renewed. Doing this on time is crucial to keep the insurance valid. With modern-day life becoming increasingly fast-paced and hectic, it is no wonder that people often forget to renew their policy on time. Insurance providers offer their customers a grace period to avoid losses in such cases. Thus, the policyholder can renew their two-wheeler insurance 90 days after the expiry date. But if there are any delays after this period the policy lapses and can no longer be renewed. If the policyholder had any accumulated NCB that will be lost. Moreover, the two-wheeler must go through inspection formalities again. If your two-wheeler insurance has lapsed follow these steps to purchase a fresh policy:

Step 1: Visit InsuranceDekho. Select the ‘two-wheeler insurance tab’ at the top of the page.

Step 2: In the ‘Get Quotes’ section enter your two-wheeler’s registration number. IF you do not have the registration number with you, you can also provide the two-wheeler’s make, model and registration year.

Step 3: Provide your name and contact number, once you have entered all the required details click on ‘Submit and Get Quotes’.

Step 4: All the quotes in your category will be visible on the screen. Select the one that best suits your needs and price point. You can also select any add-ons you would like to purchase at this stage.

Step 5: Pay for the selected policy and the policy document will be sent to your registered email ID.
