About ICICI Lombard Arogya Sanjeevani Policy Health Insurance

Arogya Sanjeevani Policy offered by ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited is a standard health insurance policy that covers you and your family against healthcare expenses arising due to hospitalisation for more than 24 hours. Anyone between the age group of 18 years-65 years can purchase this policy on an individual or floater basis to secure their basic health requirements. It is an ideal choice for you if you want to extend health insurance benefits for your family members too. Apart from self, you can add legally-wedded spouse, dependent children, dependent parents, and dependent parents-in-law under this policy. Sum insured options for this plan begin at Rs. 1 lakh and go till Rs. 5 lakh (in multiples of Rs. 50,000), which you can choose as per your requirement. The best thing about this policy is that it allows you to pay the premium in monthly, half-yearly, quarterly, and yearly installments. The policy is available for a term of one year and there is no restriction on the maximum age for renewal.  

In order to provide maximum satisfaction to the policyholders, the policy is loaded with several benefits.  Some of them include: cumulative bonus between 5%-50%, free look period, grace period, benefit of cashless hospitalisation as well as reimbursement, cover for in-patient hospitalisation expenses, cover for plastic surgery (if necessitated due to disease or injury), and tax benefits under Section 80D of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Also, the policy comes at minimum co-payment of 5% which is applicable on all admissible claims.
