Expenses related to Cataract treatment are covered for up to 25% of the sum insured or Rs. 40,000 whichever is lower, for each eye during a policy period.
What is the general waiting period under Bharti AXA Arogya Sanjeevani policy?
The policyholders have to complete a general waiting period of 30 days to be able to enjoy benefits under this policy. The waiting period is calculated from the date of commencement of the policy. This waiting period shall not, however, be applied if you have continuous coverage for more than 12 months.
What is the waiting period for pre-existing diseases under Bharti AXA Arogya Sanjeevani policy?
The policy covers pre-existing diseases after 48 months of continuous coverage from the date of inception of the first policy.

If you cancel your Arogya Sanjeevani Policy, Bharti AXA General Insurance Company by giving 15 days written notice, then the company shall refund the policy premium for the unexpired policy period at the following rates:
- Up to 30 days: 75%
- 31 to 90 days: 50%
- 3 to 6 months: 25%
- 6 to 12 months: 0%
Is there any free look period allowed under Bharti AXA Arogya Sanjeevani policy?
Yes. You will be allowed a free period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the policy to review the policy terms and conditions. You may return the policy if not suitable during this period subject to terms and conditions.
Can I get my sum insured changed during the policy period?
Yes. You may get the sum insured increased or decreased, but this facility is only at the time of renewal, or otherwise, subject to underwriting by the company. The waiting period shall start afresh in case you opt for an increase in the sum insured. This will be applicable only for the enhanced portion.
