Diabetes is a disease that affects our ability to process blood sugar. Normally, insulin named hormone transfers sugar from our blood to the cells of our body. But in the case of Diabetes, our pancreas does not produce much insulin which affects this transfer. As a result, the sugar content in our blood increases. This excess blood sugar affects the nerves and blood vessels severely.
The risk for Diabetes increases when an individual becomes inactive, obese, does smoking, drinking, has high steroids, or has a history of the disease in the family.

  • After 1 and half hours- green tea or black coffee (without sugar)

3. Evening snacks
Sprouts (Chana/Moong Or both)

4. Dinner

  • 2 roti / 1 bowl rice
  • 1 bowl sabji
  • 1 cup mixed vegetable oats

Before bed- 1 glass milk without sugar
