Breaking traffic laws is not only illegal but also dangerous for the safety of road users. It is also not shocking that the authorities enforce fines on violators of traffic laws, with the severity of the penalty varying according to the seriousness of the offence.

Traffic offences and fines make people cautious and that is perhaps why, in the first place, they are even implemented. The “Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Bill, 2019” came with new traffic offences and fines starting from 1 September-2019 and to improve road safety, as most of these fines have been increased by a significant margin.
