    Yes. ManipalCigna Super Top-up Policy comes with two optional covers, namely, guaranteed continuity on deductible and reduction of PED waiting period. The former offers guaranteed continuity benefit on waiting period for sum insured upto the deductible amount, if a separate base policy is opted from 5th policy year. Whereas with the latter, you can reduce the waiting period for pre-existing diseases from 48 months to 24 months. Note that these optional covers can be taken at the time of policy purchase only.

    ManipalCigna Super Top-Up Policy provides the following basic covers to the policyholders:

    • In-patient hospitalisation expenses

    • Daycare treatments
    • Non-medical expenses

    ManipalCigna Super Top-Up Policy covers you up to the sum insured for the following expenses in case of in-patient hospitalisation:

    • Medical expenses arising due to hospitalisation for more than 24 hours
    • Medical expenses are covered up to any room category
    • Cover for HIV/AIDS and related disease, for up to Rs. 2 Lakh after a waiting period of 2 years
    • Medical expenses arising due to modern and advanced treatment methods, for up to the sum insured

    ManipalCigna Super Top-Up Policy comes with the following waiting periods: 

    • Waiting period for specific disease: 24 months
    • Waiting period for pre-existing diseases: 48 months
