It is a policy framed to offer a lump sum amount, which is fixed and equals to the sum insured. It offered me a cover with a lump-sum amount on being diagnosed with a critical illness. The amount provided in a lump sum is offered irrespective of the expenses incurred during the hospitalisation or recovery period.
