1. Death/Terminal Illness Cover (including AIDS): ICICI Pru iProtect Smart helps you give terminal illnesses the last fight by helping you pay your insurance money before death. The terminal illnesses covered in ICICI Pru iProtect Smart plan covers you for AIDS as well.

2. Waiver of Premium Due to Disability: Under a waiver of premium due to disability benefit, the insurance company will bear all the future premiums and your life cover will stay intact in case of permanent disability due to an accident. Decide your own policy term at affordable premiums

3. Tax Benefits: On the premium paid for the ICICI iProtect Smart plan, you can avail of tax benefits under Section 80C and 80D of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Kindly note that the service tax and cesses will be charged extra as per the applicable rates. Also, note that the tax laws are subject to amendments from time to time.
