Yes. The policyholders get a free look period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the policy so that they can understand the policy better.

An initial waiting period is of 30 days, whereas pre-existing diseases can be covered after 48 months of continuous coverage. Specified diseases/surgeries/treatments are covered after a waiting period of 24/48 months under this policy.

Is there any limit on room rent cover under this policy?

Yes. The policy offers cover for room rent for up to 2% of the sum insured, subject to a maximum of Rs. 5,000 per day.
