Religare Partners with Ola to Launch OlaMoney-Religare Hospicash Policy

In the recent announcement, Ola partners with Care Health Insurance formerly Religare Health Insurance to launch a health insurance . The policy OlaMoney-Religare Hospicash is rolled out with the sum insured of Rs. 5 Lakh per year and enables the policyholder to avail the benefit of Rs. 5000 per day of hospital cash.
The policy is available for purchase through Ola app and can be purchased by any registered Ola user.
This comprehensive policy can be purchased as an individual or as a family floater plan by paying a premium as low as Rs. 3 per day. The policy term is 1 year and comes with lifelong renewability option.
The policy acts as an addition to the existing basic health cover and can be used for reimbursement of treatment expenses at any hospital across India.
CEO, Ola Money, Nitin Gupta said that nowadays, with the exorbitantly increasing treatment expenses, the people are forced to pay out of their savings in the event of unplanned medical emergencies. In such a situation, this Hospicash plan encompassed with superior benefits can take care of all the additional medical coverage at an affordable price.
The prime benefits of the plan include coverage for hospitalisation expenses in the event of an accident; treatment of critical illnesses; reimbursement of the claim; and lifelong renewability option.
Speaking about the partnership, Anuj Gulati, Managing Director and CEO, Religare Health Insurance said that Religare has always been consistent in offering customised products and services to its customers and this partnership is a step closer to that. He further added that this plan is thoughtfully designed and can effectively serve as a standalone policy or compliment any of the existing basic health cover of an individual.
