Aarogya Setu App to Display COVID-19 Vaccination Status Now

According to the latest reports, The Aarogya Setu app, the government’s COVID-19 contact tracing application will display the vaccination status of individuals. Now, a blue tick will appear against the names of individuals after they take one dose of their COVID-19 vaccine. Two blue ticks will be displayed after both the doses have been taken. In a tweet, Aarogya Setu stated, “Now your Vaccination Status can be updated on Aarogya Setu. Get yourself vaccinated - Get the Double Blue Ticks and Get the Blue Shield”.
It must be noted that the Aarogya Setu application was launched by the Government of India in April, 2020. Currently, National Informatics Centre (NIC) is maintaining and supporting the Aarogya Setu application that aims to help people identify Bluetooth contacts of COVID-19 positive users and issue alerts to ensure safety among people. Aarogya Setu application other than the CoWIN portal can be used for registration for COVID-19 vaccines and bookings slots.
Registering on the Aarogya Setu app is quite simple. Individuals can also download the COVID-19 vaccination certificate from Aarogya Setu by using their mobile phone number and 13-digit beneficiary reference ID.
As of now, the Aarogya Setu app has been downloaded more than 18.9 Crore times on Android, iOS and KaiOS platforms.
