Bharti AXA’s Smart Health Insurance is a plan that offers coverage for medical expenses to its policyholders. Along with coverage for hospital, daycare and domiciliary expenses, etc. it also provides benefit such as no-claim bonus. There are add-on benefits under the plan such as hospital cash and critical illness cover. For optional critical illness cover, an additional amount equal to 100% of sum assured is offered for critical illness treatment. This plan is available as both individual as well as a family floater plan.

Scope of Coverage:
  • Hospitalisation expenses such as room rent, ICU charges are covered
  • Daycare treatment expenses
  • Expenses related to organ donation and treatment expenses of organ donor are covered
  • Domiciliary hospitalisation expenses are covered, if unable to be treated at the hospital
  • Hospital cash allowance as per the sum assured
  • Ambulance charges
  • Home nursing charges
  • Dread disease recuperation
Eligibility:
Entry age for adults is 18 years and for dependent children is 91 days. There is no limit on the maximum entry age.
Exclusions:
  • Convalescence charges related to the recuperation of the policyholder is excluded
  • Dental treatment expenses are not covered
  • Expenses related to animal bite vaccinations are not covered under the health policy
  • Maternity expenses are excluded
  • Domestic Air Ambulance coverage is not provided under the plan.
