How To Apply For Bike’s PUC Certificate?
For a new Bike the dealer will automatically provide a pollution control certificate (PUCC), which is valid for 1 year. You must then follow the following steps to get a PUC Certificate for existing Bikes:
- Find a PUC facility in your area. It can either be a gas pump, a licenced testing centre for auto-emission or a standalone private testing centre for emissions.
- Scan your exhaust pipe by the test manager to determine your Bike's emission levels
- You will receive a Bike PUC Certificate with your test results after you have paid the required fee.
Only those centres and RTOs mentioned above can now provide an online PUC Certificate. You could still check online the pollution certification, learn how the PUC Certificate is valid, and pay online with the Parivahan Sewa online PUC certificate.
