Shriram Life Smart Protection Plan Benefits

The key benefits offered under Shriram Life Smart Protection Plan are:

• Death Benefit

In case of the death of the life assured within the policy term,

• Under the silver option, the death sum assured is paid to the nominee. Thereafter, the policy terminates.
• Under the gold option, the death sum assured is paid to the nominee. Thereafter, the policy terminates. In the case of an accidental death, an additional benefit equal to the death sum assured is paid to the nominee. Thereafter, the policy terminates.
• Under the diamond option, if the death occurs first, the death sum assured is paid to the nominee. Thereafter, the policy terminates. If critical illness occurs first, a critical illness benefit of 25% of the sum assured is paid. Thereafter, the policy continues for life cover only till the end of the policy term. On the death of the life insured during the policy term, death sum assured less the critical illness benefit already paid is payable. Thereafter, the policy terminates.

If any of the covered critical illness is diagnosed, the outstanding future premiums will be waived off.
