Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana

This scheme offers a quarterly interest to the account for every financial year. The best feature of this plan is the lock-in period provision. Only the parents or the legal guardians of the girl child can open the account and transfer it to another place if you want. The child should be under ten years old and have to submit an age certificate proof with the form. The parents can open only two accounts and needs 250 INR to open them. After 21 years, you will get the final amount, and the account will be closed.

You can open an SSY account in any post office or government bank. The parents must submit identity proof, like a ration card, driving license, PAN card or more. You will get a passbook after opening the account for the transactions in the future.

Balika Samridhi Yojana

Every girl child is entitled to 500 INR after birth in this scheme. She will also receive a scholarship to complete her schooling, deposited in an interest-bearing account with the highest interest rate possible. You cannot withdraw any amount prematurely. Children under ten years of age, belonging to a BPL family or living in slums or urban areas can avail this scheme.

The biological parents can open the account and will handle it. Once the child turns 18, she can tackle the account without the parents' intervention. The parents can obtain the form from any Aanganwadi centre for rural locations and municipal corporations for urban localities.

Beti Bachao Beti Padhao

This scheme ensures the girl child can access education by going to school and can inherit their family's property. Some schools and universities support student enrolment for higher studies by applying concessions on their fees. This plan blocks all the biases and discrimination toward girls by offering exclusive benefits in their education.

Ladli Scheme

If you are from Haryana or any parent is from Haryana, then you can avail the benefits of this scheme. You have to produce a domicile certificate. You must register the child and mother's names at the Anganwadi centre. For the next five years, you will get a sum of 5000 INR each year.

This scheme will benefit those families who have two girl children. The amount will accumulate in the form of Kisan Vikas Patra, and when the child turns 18 can withdraw the money. You have to open the account in the mother's name. In case of second girl childbirth, the Government will immediately give the cash in 2 instalments.
