    Jan Arogya Bima Policy offered by The Oriental Insurance Company Limited can be purchased by people aged between 5 years and 70 years when buying the policy. Children aged between 3 months and 5 years can also be included under the policy if either or both the parents are covered under the policy. Also, a person can apply for this policy only when he/she is a resident of India. 

     

  • What are the waiting periods under the Jan Arogya Bima Policy?

    Jan Arogya Policy comes with the following waiting periods: 

    • A waiting period of 30 days for all illnesses from the date of commencement of the policy. Note that it is not applicable on renewal or accidents.
    • Specific waiting period for 1 year for specified diseases
